    Once you're in, we'll have a relaxed chat (email or video call) about the place, the moment, and what it means to you.

    Sketch & colour direction

    I send through a rough sketch and a colour direction for your approval. Tweaks welcome — this is where we get it right.

    Painting time

    I paint in my Christchurch studio. You'll get progress photos along the way so it never feels like a black box.

    Delivered to your door

    Your original painting is carefully packed and shipped worldwide. Yours to frame, hang, and keep forever.

How much does a commission cost?

Pricing depends on size and complexity. I'll share full details once you're off the waitlist and we've talked about your piece — but expect a thoughtful investment for something hand-painted, original, and made just for you.

When will commissions reopen?

I open commissions in small batches a few times a year so I can give every painting proper time and care. The waitlist is the only way to find out first — and waitlisters book before public availability.

How long does the whole process take?

From your first call to your painting arriving at your door, it's usually around four to six weeks — depending on size, complexity, and where in the world you are.

I'm not in New Zealand. Can I still commission you?

Absolutely. I ship worldwide. We'll handle everything over email and video calls, and your finished painting will be packed safely and posted to you wherever you're based.

Can I send you a photo to paint from?

Yes — please do. Photos help me capture the place. But these aren't photo-realistic copies. I paint the feeling and atmosphere of the moment, in my own colourful, expressive style.
